Our Tech Camp HQ is where we develop all of our courses and projects for Tech Camp so is quite different to other venues that are typically schools or colleges.
We still have the variety of games and supplies for campers to use during breaks as the other venues, but instead of outdoor sporting activities we have indoor activities like table tennis and other indoor games.
Also, unique to this venue, we have different lunchtime 'Tech Activities' every day as we have access to all of Tech Camps equipment like laser cutters and 3D printers. We also have access to our partner 'Cookery Lab' (see below).
Extra activities at our HQ
One of the many unique lunchtime activities we run at the Aldermaston venue is a session in The Cookery Lab, adjacent to and connected internally to Tech Camp HQ. It's run by Chef Sarah (wife of Tech Camp's MD, Tom and co-owner of the Tech Camp/Cookery Lab complex).
Campers will cook their own lunch one day in the Cookery Lab and depending on what else is happening in the kitchen might also experience a sample or two of what's cooking!

Our Aldermaston venue runs the most popular selection of our courses between 9:30am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Currently we're mainly operating in the last couple of weeks of the UK summer holidays, but also look out for some one-off shorter courses that we'll only be running here.
Although campers can't stay overnight here, some families who live further away use it as an opportunity to take a holiday and find their own accommodation in the area. There might be closer Tech Camps to you, but nobody does real-world take-home engineering projects like us!
